In Our Program

4 the Youth Inc. is a unique program that adjusts to the individual needs of each male or female client we serve.

Our program philosophy is to try to match youth with the proctor home that will best meet their needs.

Each of our homes has been trained and understands how to effectively incorporate the youth’s treatment plan in the home.

We believe that it is important to work as a team with the youth’s case manager, youth, therapist, youth’s parent, proctor parents, tracker and program director to help ensure the success of the youth while at 4 The Youth.

We offer individualized programs for the clients and caseworkers we work with. We coordinate with case workers and treatment teams in meeting with specific needs of the youth.

Diversity

We have DJJS and DCFS Proctor homes and trackers in Salt Lake County, Utah County and in the St. George area. Our goal is to be sensitive and responsive to the needs of diverse cultures and utilize use of translation services and employ bi-lingual homes and trackers. We provide on-going training to our proctor parents and trackers, which enable them to work effectively with the youth.

About Us

4 The Youth was established in 1996 and has helped many youth become successful in their endeavors. 4 The Youth employees bring a wide variety of background and experiences in helping at-risk youth. Steve Astle LCSW, Clinical Director and owner has over 25 years experience providing therapy in individual, family and group settings and has expertise in treating general populations as well as sex offenders and substance abuse. Steve has mentored and supervised numerous therapists. Stephanie Grover M.ed, Program Director has over ten years experience in working with at- risk youth and has a comprehensive understanding of this population. Melissa Williams, Tracking Supervisor has worked over 5 years with at-risk youth and has an energetic and creative approach when dealing with this population.
